About this session:

The cleaning industry is conquering technology at record speed and robotics are at the forefront of that movement. Although availability in robotic floor equipment is plentiful now, there were limited options when Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) launched their fleet. This session will outline why RIT opted to be an early adopter, how they gained buy-in from management, staff and building occupants, as well as the successes they've seen as a result. It will also cover how the technology has evolved over the years and what this progress has meant for cleaning efficiencies.

Learning Objectives:

1. Describe the history and back-ground in robotic cleaning equipment
2. Explain how to gain buy-in from decision makers, front-line staff, and building occupants
3. Identify the things to consider prior to deciding on equipment choices
4. Discuss how to track success
