The 38-year practice of Chris Garner, P.E., revolves around a multidisciplinary engineering approach that solves problems in many industries, such as health care, where he spent 12 years developing solutions. Garner worked on the design and fabrication of a testable solution for NASA to repair the Hubble Space Telescope, served as a flight test engineer, designed and built cleanrooms, and worked as an R&D engineer for York Air Conditioning. He is the author of Engineering Healthy Hospitals, Introduction to Disease Prevention Engineering and rewrote the printing chapter of the ASHRAE Applications Handbook (circa 1980).
